Deskripsjon: With a large measure of good taste, in an ancient house in the historical quarter of the borough (dated from 1580 and restored as a rural hotel in 1994), this place is a natural temple to the Canarian style of cooking, drawing on technical traditions to achieve excellent results. The local cheese discovers delicious qualities when roasted lightly with coriander and the gofio find its space in the almogrote (mixed with honey and almonds, sometimes eaten as an aperitif) and in the frangollo (cooked with milk until thick and drizzled with honey or jelly, an excellent dessert). The Rabbit in Salmorejo sauce is a praiseworthy dish and one that enjoys great popularity in the Canarian islands. Apart from the fine list of classical dishes, there are also stuffed potatoes as well as grilled meat and fish. As a tribute to the excellent blends to be found in this area, only D.O. wine labels from the Oratava Valley are served.
