Deskripsjon: Their dedication to Canarian gastronomy and the positive adjectives that is instilled in their marvellous dishes, have won awards of great prestige such as the "Best popular kitchen of 2004" from Diario de Avisos. In 2006, they rose to 3rd prize in the Tapas competition of El Sauzal. Their pleasant facilties and the loyalty to Canarian recipes attracts a vast public who benefit from their measured prices which do not surpass 10 or 15 euros on average per person, for a complete meal. Nieves Gutierrez is the alma mater of the place, cooking with passion and enthusiasm. She upholds the archive of all her mother in law´s recipes, who founded the Tasca in 1971, "it is", says Nieves, "that my mother in law, Teresa, was my maestro and I wanted to maintain her flavours which have given fame to the restaurant". Neither has she allowed the good family type treatment of the house to be lost, a fundamental aspect of the business "which my father in law Alfonso founded at the beginning of everything".
